"At Galatians Homeless Initiative, our mission is to glorify God through compassionate service to the homeless. We foster partnerships with potential donors, supporters, and partners to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Vision: We believe every individual deserves a safe and secure place to call home, and we are committed to making that a reality. Our approach involves collaborating with communities, organizations, and individuals to provide resources and support to people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of becoming homeless. We believe that by working together with compassion and empathy, we can positively impact the lives of those affected by homelessness.
Our main goal is to purchase a pallet shelter community for individuals & families living without homes. In Washington, DC alone, there are 690 unsheltered persons on the street, over 65,000 facing hunger, and a shortage of over 22,000 affordable housing for those earning less than the median income.
We want to help change that. We care about people. We stand firm on the belief that people should have a roof over their heads, food in their stomachs, and a community of people to turn to when times are hard. We are creating an organization that takes the formality out of housing and puts compassion into pulling people off the streets.
We want to make a safe, stable, and nurturing community for the homeless that rehabilitates residents and directs them toward stability and recovery.
